Application Area
The sheet extruder is composed of extrusion, calendaring, traction and rolling. The main parts are abrasion resistant, resistant to corrosion, and high-temperature resistant by high quality specially-treated. Low resistance force in die head extruding channel makes sheet thickness evenly, the internal spiral tank in three rollers ensures an effective cooling. The machine extrudes PP/PS granule to PP/PS sheet with single color, which is used for producing plastic products by plastic thermoforming machines, like cups, food containers, trays, dishes, bowls, lids, etc.
Technical Highlights
1. Screw and Barrel: Made of 38CrMoAlA with nitriding treatment for superior hardness, corrosion resistance, and long service life.
2. T-die Design: Cloth-hanger style design enables molten material to flow evenly from the outlet for consistent quality.
3. Filter System: Worm-gear case equipped with a 300mm x 40mm filter. Features 7.2kw heating power for smooth processing.
4. Roller Cooling: Spiral cooling method (not linear) is used inside each drum via trough irons to ensure highly effective temperature control.
5. Winding Station: Double working station design allows for continuous operation; while one roller is full, the other takes over to save time.
6. Scrap Recycling: Includes a dedicated scrap rewinder to efficiently collect edge materials for recycling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a factory and have been exporting our machinery to over 80 countries globally since 2001.
Q2: What is the warranty period for the extruder?
The warranty is 13 months from the date of shipment. During this time, maintenance spares are provided free of charge for non-artificial damage.
Q3: Do you provide on-site installation services?
Yes, we can dispatch technicians to your facility to install the machine and provide comprehensive training for your operators.
Q4: What materials can this sheet extruder process?
This model is specifically designed to process PP (Polypropylene) and PS (Polystyrene) granules into high-quality plastic sheets.
Q5: What kind of products can be made from the extruded sheets?
The sheets are ideal for thermoforming into various products such as disposable cups, food containers, trays, bowls, and lids.
Q6: How does the cooling system ensure consistent sheet quality?
The machine uses a spiral cooling method inside three rollers, which provides more effective and uniform cooling compared to linear methods, ensuring consistent sheet thickness.
